Adult Cricket
Be Part of Something Special
We have enough members to run 5 league sides on a Saturday, with a 6th team for friendlies, depending on the number of players available from week to week. Our numbers are bolstered by the Colts, many of whom are holding their own in league cricket, whilst still within the Colts structure.
The younger adults, having been through the Colts system are making a difference to all the sides and the Club is reaping the benefit of the structure put in place some years ago.
With two and occasionally three sides on a Sunday and with the 1sts playing 9 development league games, there is plenty of opportunity for the youngsters to display their considerable talents on both days each weekend!
There is also ample opportunity for those who are less young to perform at their own level each week, with real opportunities for promotion for those who are in good form.
Our superb Winter Nets are held at Bishop Justus School, Magpie Hall Lane, Bromley Common BR2 8HZ, from mid-January to the end of March from 4-6.30pm. The exact dates will be advised to members by e-mail.
We now have a fabulous three lane artificial net facility, which was funded by ourselves and a substantial grant from the ECB. This will be officially opened and be available to use from Spring 2012.
Summer nets will be on Tuesday evenings from around 6.15 until the light fades. There will be other training nights for the 1sts, 2nds and 3rds, to be advised in the Spring.
